Fresh talent is always welcome at Regina. Whether your interests lie onstage or backstage, you can get valuable experience and exposure in a friendly, professional atmosphere.

Singers

Principals: Regina Opera auditions, which are held as needed throughout the season, are by invitation only. Send us your résumé and photo, and we'll contact you if a suitable role is available. There is no audition fee.  We provide the accompanist, although you may of course bring your own.  If you are chosen for a role, you MUST be available for rehearsals Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, as well as for all performance dates.

Unfortunately, we are not now in a position to pay our singers. But we provide valuable experience in standard repertoire and exposure to a wide audience (average 300 attendees per performance -- each soloist gets two performances per production) in fully-staged productions with a 35- to 40-piece orchestra. Send your résumé and photo to: Regina Opera Company, P.O. Box 150253, Brooklyn, New York 11215, or e-mail us at info@reginaopera.org(Please do not send .zip or other compressed files to this address.)

Chorus: E-mail us at info@reginaopera.org to audition for our chorus. We are especially in need of tenors and basses.  Choristers must be able to read music and be available to attend rehearsals on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, as well as extra rehearsals as needed.

Stage Directors and Conductors

Your résumé is always welcome; we will contact you for an interview if a position opens. And, let us know if you have something in production that you'd like us to see. We pay a nominal honorarium. Send your résumé to Regina Opera Company, P.O. Box 150253, Brooklyn, New York 11215, or e-mail it to us at info@reginaopera.org.

Musicians

Piano accompanists and orchestral players should e-mail us at info@reginaopera.org, or send a résumé to Regina Opera Company, P.O. Box 150253, Brooklyn, New York 11215. Payment is per service.
