Principals: Regina Opera auditions, which are held as needed throughout the season, are by invitation only. Send us your résumé and photo, and we'll contact you if a suitable role is available. There is no audition fee. We provide the accompanist, although you may of course bring your own. If you are chosen for a role, you MUST be available for rehearsals Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, as well as for all performance dates.
Unfortunately, we are not now in a position to pay our singers. But we provide valuable experience in standard repertoire and exposure to a wide audience (average 300 attendees per performance -- each soloist gets two performances per production) in fully-staged productions with a 35- to 40-piece orchestra.
