Celebrate Regina Opera’s 53rd
Anniversary with a two-hour concert featuring instrumental selections by Julian Villanueva Raheb, played by a sextet of members of our orchestra.
A 17-year-old Park Slope resident, Julian is an award-winning composer and classical pianist who has frequently performed his own and other classical piano works
in our concerts over the last eight years. His compositions have also been performed by many other groups, including the New York Youth Symphony, the American Composers Orchestra, and
the New York Philharmonic Very Young Composers program.
Also on the program will be popular opera selections performed by Regina Opera
artists:
soprano Brooke Schooley, soprano Tate Chu, tenor Paolo Buffagni, tenor Percy Martinez, and baritone Brian Montgomery,
accompanied by pianist Catherine Miller and flutist Richard Paratley.
